Commit to and be accountable to yourself … but if you need support to achieve your goals don’t be afraid to ask … a friend, family member, practitioner, computer, app … whatever it takes to get you where you want to go!
I borrowed a fitness tracker and am finding it’s a great way to keep track of my activity and to stay motivated. You can even link with friends and ‘challenge’ them to a friendly daily, 5-day or weekend competition.
I use the phrase EAT THE RAINBOW on a daily basis …. it means eat foods EVERY DAY which represent EVERY COLOUR of the rainbow.
Fueling up on a variety of brightly coloured fruits and vegetables (which are full of VITAMINS and nutrients) will leave you LOOKING & FEELING more VIBRANT.
Today’s food rainbow: Red pepper, navel orange, lemon, kale, blueberries & blackberries … hey, you can squeeze that all into a morning smoothie and call it a day!

Set yourself up for success. When it comes to snacking many of us reach for the quickest, easiest thing. Sometimes that translates into a poor food choice with respect to nutritional value.
If you PREPARE your veggies in advance (wash, peel, & chop) you will be more likely to opt for them as a healthy snack option because it will be quick & easy … just grab a dip and you’re ready to munch.
If you keep them in clear containers at eye level in your fridge you will be able to see their vibrant colours and access them easily.
Get OUTSIDE & get MOVING … fresh air & sunshine await.

Lemon Water is a great way to start your day!
Lemon water provides a gentle detoxification and helps to cleanse your system which can have many health benefits, including clearer skin and reduced inflammation.
